The Estate Planning Process
In creating your estate plan and documents, I will endeavor to learn about you, your family and your financial situation. We will also spend some time exploring your long-term goals for yourself and your family. Then I will create the estate documents that can help you achieve those goals.
At a minimum, this should include:
- A will
- An advance health care directive which specifies the medical care you want or do not want at the end of your life
- A Power of Attorney which appoints someone to handle your financial affairs if you are unable to do so
As your life and financial situation change, I can easily update these documents. I also strive to keep my firm's estate planning services as cost-effective as possible.
Complex Estate Planning
In addition to having a law degree, I have a Master's in Taxation from Golden Gate University and an MBA. This background enables me to handle more complex estate planning matters.
